 Bruner Quarter Horses is a small family owned ranch that has
specialized in raising Reined-Cow horses with a few cutters and reiners for over 13 years. Our Program has produced top contenders in Cow Horse and Reining events such as Plain Gold Colonel( LTE over $20,000) and Von Remedy (AQHA Rom) an up and coming reining horse. We have even produced some top barrel horses and a few rope horses and a halter
champion.
Our Stallions
Our Stallions are Plain Dual Nic(LTE$21,000+), Chex By Pepto(LTE$19,511) and Cash It Johnny(LTE$5,000 and just started showing). Just Plain Colonel, the Legendary Ward Ranch reined cow horse sire has had a tremendous impact on our ranch. After the purchase of our first Stallion Plain Dual Nic (an own son of Just Plain Colonel) we knew we had something great!
Every foal was beautiful, every foal had the famous Just Plain Colonel Disposition and every foal was built to be a champion.
As an added benefit almost all of them were buckskin. We acquired
some great daughters of Plain Dual Nic and looked for a stallion to cross our beautiful mares to. After careful consideration we found Chex By Pepto(LTE $20,000) an Own son of Peptoboonsmal. In 2008 we had our first Chex By Pepto foals, they are
gorgeous with great confirmation and are very catty and stylish movers. We look forward to seeing his foals hit the show pen. While Plain Dual
NIC is aging very gracefully( at age 21 he looks and acts like a young show horse) the demand for his foals is growing. We started looking for another son of Just Plain Colonel. John Ward offered us Cash It Johnny- an own son of Just Plain Colonel that is
currently being shown by John Ward himself. We look forward to watching Cash It Johnny become a great show horse and a sire, just maybe the one to fill in for Just Plain Colonel Himself.
Every year we are proud to offer a set of beautiful yearlings with something for everyone whether you cut, rein or cow horse we have a prospect for you. This year we are offering 10 yearlings which include an own daughter of
Bueno Chexinic (offspring earnings over $363,000) and an own daughter of Boonsmal Cee Lena (LTE$151,000). Check out the sale page to see the entire listing.
2010 looks to be a very promising year for foals. Not only do we expect foals by Plain Dual Nic and Chex By Pepto, we are also expecting foals by Rowdy Yankee (LTE$82,000+), Einsteins Revolution (LTE$332,874) and our first foal by Cash It Johnny!

Our Brood Mares
 Our Broodmares come from all over, we have carefully hand selected the mares to breed to our stallions. We have own daughters of Nu Chex To Cash, Skeets Peppy, Paid By Chic, Classy Little Lena, Colonel Doc Bar Chex, Little Tequila lena and Peptos Stylish Oak just to name a few. Our mares are chosen for there athletic ability, confirmation and disposition. We only keep the best, we do not produce for numbers we only want to produce top quality prospects.
The 2009 foal crop is here and they are everything we hoped the would be. If you take a look you are sure to find a prospect. We have everything
from Palomino stallions by Chex By Pepto to Buckskin sons of Plain Dual Nic Every foals that hits the ground is for sale .Although we will occasionally sell weanlings we usually keep them to promote as yearlings.
